Location: Sakima Country Club, Carneys Point, NJ

The 9-hole "Sakima" course at the Sakima Country Club facility in Carneys Point, New Jersey features 3,077 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36 . The course rating is 70.8 and it has a slope rating of 116.  Designed by Charles Willard, the Sakima golf course opened in 1962. Mike Bertles manages the course as the General Manager.

Tournament Rules:

  1. This tournament is open to any girl that is a member of a New Jersey High School Golf team.  All players must be accompanied by Coach or school representative.
  2. This is a 9 hole medal play tournament.  All USGA / NJSIAA rules with be used.  The tournament committee reserves the right to modify rules.
  3. Each School may enter a maximum of 4 golfers.  Schools wishing to enter more will be put on a waiting list once a final count is established after entry deadline.
  4. AWARDS:
    • TEAM - consists of 2 team members of the same team. (Combined TOTAL SCORE) TIE BREAKER WILL BE TEAM TOTAL per hole, BEGINNING AT HOLE #1)
    • INDIVIDUAL -  1st, 2nd , and 3rd place.   Tie breakers will be decided by match of cards beginning on hole #1.
  5. Seniors who have played in at least two South Jersey Invitational Tournaments are eligible to apply for scholarship, awarded by Tournament Director.
  6. THERE IS NO RAIN DATE.  IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION ALL MONIES WILL BE ROLLED OVER TO THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

Registration Instructions:

  1. Registrations will be handled on a "first come, first serve basis". In no event will registration forms be accepted after Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
  2. A maximum number of 72 golfers will participate in the tournament.
  3. Each team will have no more than four (4) members. If you wish to register more than 4 players please contact the Tournament Director.
  4. Entry Fee is $25 per player. Make all checks payable to: CLEARVIEW REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
  5. Attach your full payment to the completed Tournament Registration form (Word, PDF).
  6. Mail payment and completed form to:

  7. Once the Tournament Administrator receives your payment and completed form, he’ll contact you with instructions as to how to enter your team data on this website.
  8. There is no rain date. ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. In the event this tournament is canceled because of in climate weather, all monies will be rolled over to the following year.

Scholarship Information:

Eligibility: 

  1. Must be senior graduating in 2011
  2. Must Play on a NJ High School Golf Team
  3. Must have played in the South Jersey Girls Invitational Golf Tournament at least 2 Times.
  4. Must send in a 500 word essay by May 21, 2011.
  5. Essay Theme:   Choose a personal hero and describe how that hero has affected you in a positive manner and how you might pay it forward in your next 4 years of college.
  6. Winner will be notified by mail and must have proof of registration to college to receive funds.
